Kalau denger Tom and Jerry, pasti kenal kan. Kucing dan tikus yang nggak pernah akur alias selalu mencoba mencari cara untuk saling mencelakakan. Nah, tadi tuh ceritanya, si kucing Tom nerima paket yang isinya buku.

Setelah membuka paketnya, Tom mulai membaca halaman per halaman dari buku yang ternyata ditulis oleh si tikus Jerry tentang cerita hidupnya dengan Tom (Diary). Membaca halaman pertama dia langsung teringat betapa bodohnya dia dipermainkan oleh si Jerry dan keponakannya yang masih pakai pampers. Klimaksnya ketika semua bulu si Tom terbakar! Sambil menahan marah Tom melanjutkan membaca halaman berikutnya. Baru saja mau mulai membaca, dia mendengar suara si Spike dan anaknya (bulldog yang galak banget dan sering nyiksa si Tom) tertawa terbahak-bahak membaca diary tersebut. Marah yang tadinya di level satu, meningkat menjadi level dua. Nah, karena penasaran, Tom membuka halaman berikutnya, tapi kali ini dia mendengar suara tertawa yang lebih keras! Itulah yang mengantar Tom ke puncak amarahnya, entahlah sekarang ada di level berapa… Dengan amarah yang membuncah, dia menuju rumah si Jerry. Didobraknya pintu dan tembok rumah si Jerry. And here we go, Jerry tertangkap ama si Tom. “It’s time for revenge” kata si Tom. Tapi sebelum dilumat, Jerry menunjukkan secarik kertas yang sejak tadi dipegangnya. Dia meminta Tom untuk membacanya. Isinya seperti berikut: “Dear Jerry, ini cek sebesar $25,000 yang engkau minta diberikan untuk Tom atas penerbitan diary kalian”

Setelah membacanya dan menerima cek dari Jerry, Tom langsung berubah sikap 180 derajat. Dengan sigap dia mengambil diary yang tadi dibanting lalu membacanya, tapi kali ini sambil tertawa. Ya, menertawakan dirinya sendirinya.

Meskipun ini cerita kartun, toh bukan hal baru dalam hidup. Terkadang kita bisa begitu benci atau marah akan sesuatu secara berlarut-larut. Namun setelah tahu “rahasia” di baliknya, bisa jadi kita menertawakan diri sendiri karena kita terlalu cemen. Mudah-mudahan kita tidak tertawa karena tuntutan uang seperti si Tom, kita tertawa, karena kita bahagia mendapat pencerahan baru. Subhanallah…

Assalamu’alaikum Wr.Wb.
Firstly, I would like to say thank you very much for the MC and juries who have given me
opportunity to deliver this English speech.
Ladies and Gentlemen;
It is a great honor for me to stand here and give a brief speech entitled “Formal Education
in Indonesia”
Brothers and Sisters;
Education system in our country is divided into two major parts, they are formal and
non-formal. A formal education is divided into three levels: primary, secondary and
tertiary education. While non-formal education is carried out for the learners who get
difficulties to meet the requirements in formal education. An example of non-formal
education is PLS (Pendidikan Luar Sekolah). Both formal and non-formal education aim
at establishing the education process in our country.

Ladies and Gentlemen;
As I have stated previously, formal education involves three levels: primary, secondary
and tertiary education. Before entering primary or elementary school, children in our
country usually have attended kindergarten, or known as Taman Kanak-kanak. But this
education is not compulsory for Indonesian citizens, as the aim of this is just to prepare
them for primary school.

Children ages 7–12 attend primary education at Elementary School or Sekolah Dasar.
This level of education is compulsory for all Indonesian citizens. Similar to education
systems in the U.S. and Australia, students must study for six years to complete this level.
Some schools offer an accelerated learning program, where students who perform well
can finish elementary school in five years.
The next level is secondary education. After graduating from elementary school, students
attend Middle School or Junior High School (Sekolah Menengah Pertama) for three years
from the age of 13-15. After three years of schooling and graduation, students may move
on to Senior High School. In Indonesia, this school is basically divided into two kinds:
SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas) and SMK (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan). SMA is
different with SMK in their studies. The students at SMA are prepared to advance to
tertiary education or university, while students of SMK as a vocational school are
prepared to be ready to work after finishing their school without going to
university/college.
The last level of education in our country is tertiary education. Students who have
graduated from senior high school may attend to university or academy. They can choose
any kinds of university or academy based on their interests or scopes of knowledge, for
example majoring in English, Mathematics, or teacher training university.

Brothers and Sisters;
I think that’s all my speech. I hope my brief description on the formal education in our
country will be useful for us.

Q punya tmen2 yg sngat berkarakter loh dikels J English Morning.Dan mereka semua itu adlh tmen yg mengisi hari2 q setiap hari_a,meskipun sebagian dr mereka td begitu dekt dengn seorng Rika,tapi bagi ku mereka adlh bagian dr perjalan hidup q semasa menuntut olmu di Universitas yg termahal ini...heheJ

Dan pda suatu hari,Rikka mndapt suatu hujan yg sngt deras se x yg disertai angin kncang seakan merobohkn dinding hati seorang Rikka, dan hujan atau teptnya disebut badai kecil namun menyakitkn itu mmbuat air mata jatuh berlinang dan semangt pergi jauh ntah kmna.Detik brganti menit,menit bergnti jam,dan hari brganti hari rasa sedih tk bertepi sebb bukn hanya hujan n angin yg menrpa,tpi mungkin bisa dibilng getaran lempengan hati yg seakan menghujam jantung untuk tdk bisa melakukn apapun.

Namun dengan sikp penasarn n terbuka rikka untkmmbagi sedikit kesedihn yg melnda hati kpd sesama,mndapat sedikit cahaya dan mmbuat rsa inisedikt berputar bahwa api itu akn mati jika disirmdengan air, Bahwa air n minyak bersatu denga menambh sedikt air sabun, dan bahwa luka dihati ini akn kmbali tnang meskipun tdk sperti dulu lgi, jika q mncoba melakukn hal yg mereka inginkn tanpa mereka peduli dngan hati q sudh prnah luka,tanpa mereka tahu ttg rasa yg pernh dilema n galau olh sikap yg sperti itu.Namun kini q bersyukur bahwa seorng Rika sudh bisa bersikp sebagaimana mestinya, tnpa ada yg tahu  bahwa diri ini selalu berhati2 dn takut kalau2 hujan semalm dateng lagi dn bahkn lbh deras n berbahaya.terkadang bi2r n mulut ni capk untk bicara n tersenyum,namun tiada hal yg bisa q lakukn kecuali tersenyum.
